Introduction

Tourism is one of the industries that needs close attention from all the stakeholders involved. As a result of its delicate nature, some issues tend to crop up in the sectors that usually affects the other related sectors like the hotel industry. As a result, this paper will disucss some of the articles that discusses some of the issues in the sector and how they affect the hotel industry. The issues to be discussed in the articles are energy management, sustainability operations and national park management.

Over the past few years, the issue of energy management in different sectors has been raised and heavily discussed. As a result, different organizations have come up with strategies that make sure that every developed structure is energy efficient and the level of energy used in these sectors is minimized. As such, thus article highlights some of the steps that have been carried out to ensure energy sustainability through the concept of enterprise smart grid for buildings (Greentechmedia.com 2016). The technologies that have been introduced by this article are seen to be very useful in the energy management sector and people as well as industries have sought for the energy saving services introduced by the article.

As a result of the technologies, the hotel sector needs to take note of the advantages brought forth as it might benefit significantly from them. Adopting energy saving technologies in the hotel sector is one of the best initiatives that hotels may engage in, as the benefits that will accrue from the initiative will lead to the organization lowering its cost thus increasing its profits. In the tourism sector, adopting the energy management technologies that will make buildings smarter and more efficient will lead to a decrease in the use of those sources of energy that are obtained from the forests leading to conservation and ultimately to improved tourism attractions in an area as more species will be conserved in a given region.

In the tourism sector, energy consumptions is key and the authorities need to take note of the enrgy patterns happening in a given setting. As such, studies have been carried out to determine the equilibrium between the available energy and the rate of consumption from the natural systems that depend on the available energy. As such, there is a need for businesses to come up with strategies that will make sure that all the challenges they face are dealt with before reaching sustainability.
